Sea Change Symposium: Transformative Currents for Action in the Pacific Ocean.
The symposium will be held at Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA)’s new home designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne of Morphosis Studio and will take place from November 11 to 12, 2022.
This symposium marks the culmination of two years of research undertaken by OCMA in advance of the exhibition Sea Change: Transformative Currents for Action in the Pacific Ocean, part of the forthcoming Getty Foundation!s Pacific Standard Time: Art x Science x L.A. initiative.
Participating at the Panel:
Multispecies Relationships: Indigenous Epistemologies, Living Oceans, and Human Reciprocity.
This panel will focus on formulating a multispecies understanding of the ocean.
